This week sees the lifting of the annual summer dog ban on beaches across Cornwall. This is great news for local dog owners and visitors staying in Cornwall dog friendly cottages, who now have a huge choice of nearly 300 beaches to exercise and have fun with their pooches. Under 10 miles from The Valley luxury Cornwall cottages there are a number of lovely beaches that have now become open to dogs such as Castle Beach and Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth, and on the North Coast Portreath and Chapel Porth near St.Agnes. Further afield, some of Cornwall’s best known and most dramatic beaches are now open to dogs which include the likes of Porthcurno, Sennen Cove, Porthminster Beach (St.Ives), and Kynance Cove. This time of year really is a great time to visit Cornwall with your dogs and get the most out of the country’s most beautiful and accessible coastline.
