Mother’s Day activities to do when staying at our luxury accommodation in Cornwall

March 02nd, 2016

Mother’s Day is just this weekend on March 6, and though you might have the card and flowers prepared, for anyone staying at our luxury accommodation in Cornwall these are some ideas on how to treat your mum or mother of your children when out and about in Cornwall.

Cornish cream tea – Take your mother out for some afternoon tea, and indulge in the sweet and savoury deliciousness of Cornish traditions. The Greenbank Hotel and Lusty Glaze Beach are just two places that offer some of the best cream teas.

Spa day – There is nothing better than sitting back and relaxing in a spa treatment, catching up on the gossip with your mum. The Cowshed Spa or the C Bay Spa offer some great treatments to be wowed by.

Evening meal – Cornwall has many fantastic restaurants close to our luxury cottages, so why not treat your mum to a fancy meal of her choice? With locally sourced food, succulent sea food and those brilliant pasties, she’ll be spoiled for choice.

Coastal walks – Cornwall has lots of country walks offering great views, and hopefully there will be some sunshine on Sunday, so a walk through stunning Cornish countryside or along the coastal paths will be a great choice for a spring day out.

A day in with the family – For anyone staying at our cottages over the weekend, take the chance to enjoy the luxury of the place and enjoy some indoor activities and cook up some home-made grub for that special lady.
