At The Valley we have some dog friendly holiday cottages, Cornwall that are perfect places to have a short break with your whole family and the dog, we accommodate to their needs as much as yours.

There are beaches around Cornwall that don’t allow dogs on the beach so we have put together a list of beaches close to The Valley cottages that are dog friendly, so you know where to go when you get here.

Bamaluz beach, St Ives

St Ives is a great place to visit in Cornwall, yet Bamaluz beach is the only dog friendly beach. A sand and pebble beach, it is dog friendly all year round.

Beachview beach, Hayle

This golden sandy beach has everything for you and your dog. The beach and nearby dunes are great for the dog to run and play in, and Beachview also offers good bathing and surfing all year too.

Cadgwith Cove, Lizard Peninsula

This coastal village is picture perfect and well worth a visit. The shingle beach is a good spot for your dog to have a run about, and the village has some charming shops and cafes to browse in too.

Carne Beach, Roseland Peninsula

Carne Beach is one of the best beaches we have in Cornwall, with stunning golden sands and a stunning headland close by. Dog friendly all year, you are advised to keep the dog on a lead in summer months when you are on the beach.

Crantock Beach, Newquay

This beautiful sandy beach in North Cornwall is dog friendly all year and popular with surfers, beachgoers, families and body-boarders. As it can be a busy beach, keep an eye on your dog or keep them on a lead.

There are other beaches around Cornwall that are dog friendly, but check before you do take the dog to the beach.
