Christmas is coming! So what better way to get into the spirit than to head down to the best Christmas markets in Cornwall. If you are enjoying this festive season at our luxury Falmouth resort, or are local to the area, we have chosen our 5 favourite Christmas markets to bring the holiday in.
1 – Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair
Kick off Christmas in a unique way by visiting the ‘Made in Cornwall’. This Christmas market can offer solution to all of your present woes. There will be something for everyone, ranging from food hampers filled with spectacular treats to stunning unique jewellery, for that extra special gift. Local Cornish food and gifts will be on offer. This event will be held at the Piazza in Truro from the 30th November – 4th December, and admission is free.
2 – Padstow Christmas Festival
From the 1st – 4th of December, Padstow Christmas Festival will be in full swing. What better way to get your festive spirit flowing, than to be captivated by the quaint Christmas stalls and the charming waterside setting. This event combines chefs, local food and crafts to create one of the most popular Christmas markets in Cornwall.
3 – Flambards Christmas Fayre.
Flambards Christmas Craft Fayre will be held on the 3rd and 4th of December. This event will showcase local businesses and crafters. Father Christmas and his elves will be attending; you may even be able to get a photo and stop for a quick chat! The fayre will be held on the cobbled streets of the Victorian Village and in the Blitz experience. Weekend entrance to the Christmas fair is £1.00 per person, which will include access to the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz. This event is perfect if you are looking for a family day out.
4 – Outlaw Christmas Market, Falmouth
From the 8th to the 10th of December Falmouth will be holding the Outlaw Christmas Market. Browse the festive marquees and warm yourself with a glass of mulled wine, or grab a bite of some delicious local food. This market is famous for showcasing the very best craft, gift and food produce. Live music will be on throughout the day, as well as some tasty street food.
5 – The Lost Gardens of Heligan Christmas Fair
The Lost Gardens will be holding their first ever Christmas fair on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of December. This is a family friendly event that will showcase over 70 local businesses, which will include, artisans, creators and makers showcasing their wares. There will be plenty of food, drink, jewellery and more. This event will be free to Heligan Annual Members, £1.00 for Local Pass Holders and £2.00 for everyone else.
