At the Valley, we pride ourselves on our sensational exclusive swimming and leisure facilities, including heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa pool, games room, fitness suite and tennis courts!
Our on-site swimming pools are now closed until mid-December 2023. You can still make use of the squash courts and tennis courts. Our outside pool will be available again from June 2024.
Do you want to continue your fitness regime or want to work out? Satisfy your fitness bug with high-performance equipment from cross trainers to exercise bikes, treadmills and unique ab workouts in our fitness suite.
Take some time to rejuvenate during your stay in our glorious spa pool. This fantastic experience is beneficial for aching muscles, relaxation and mental well-being!
You book both the Fitness suite and Indoor Pool/Spa pool for 30 minute slots the day before you want to use it, meaning you get it all to yourself!
Please email all booking requests to info@valleycottages.net the morning prior to the day you want to book. Please note this is to be done daily & bookings cannot be carried over through the week.
We will then confirm what time you’ve got later the same day. Ideally, if you could please let us know 3 preferences we will endeavor to give you your first preference every time, however if everyone goes for the same slot it will be first come first serve and your 2nd or 3rd preference will be allocated.
The booking slots for the indoor pool is every 30 minutes starting from 9am to 9pm, and the time slots last 25 minutes, allowing guests 5 minutes to leave without bumping into the new guests coming in.
The surrounding areas of The Valley provide sensational cycle paths and outdoor tennis courts to energise those who crave adventure.

There are two swimming pools at The Valley, exclusive to guests, so whatever the weather, you can take a relaxing swim to start or end your day.
When the sun is shining, relax on the loungers around the outside pool and experience the tranquillity of The Valley.
The indoor swimming pool is open most of the year (See below for exact dates), and the outdoor pool is heated from mid/end of June to mid-September. For the indoor pool you have to book a 30 minute slot the day in advance of when you want to use it, meaning you get the whole pool just for yourself!
Swimming pools are open between 9 am and 9 pm.
Here at The Valley, we provide fantastic self-catered holiday cottages near Truro for families of all sizes! Our holiday cottages offer a spacious haven, and our cottages are from 4-6 beds ranging from singles to doubles.
