Captain Keith popped in to The Valley to chat about AK Wildlife Cruises, which are wildlife spotting trips that run from Falmouth Marina on the “Free Spirit”. Trips range from 4 to 7 hours and although the Captain doesn’t guarantee which of the many species that inhabit the Cornish Coastline from the Dodman to Lizard Point will be seen, he does say that you will see some amazing sights. Some of the species seen regularly include Bottlenose Dolphins, Seals and Porpoise as well as Puffins, Choughs, Peregrines and other beauties.
For those staying in our child friendly cottages here at The Valley, how about a 4 hour wildlife watching trip? The “Free Spirit” is kitted out with modern facilities and has a heated cabin for chillier days. Captain Keith runs cruises virtually ever day, weather permitting, even if that means swapping the open water for a trip exploring the Fal Estuary with all its’ creeks and wildlife.
