Christmas lights shine throughout Cornwall.

November 26th, 2014

December is a real treat for those looking for a Christmas Cottage Holiday in Cornwall. With Truro already twinkling and Falmouth, Padstow and Newquay all due to switch on their Christmas Lights soon it will not take long for you to get into the Christmas Spirit.

Newquay lights are due to be switched on Friday 28th November. Events start from 3pm, including meeting reindeer, a lantern parade, late night shopping and to finish, fireworks over the harbour at 8.30pm.

Padstow lights are set to be turned on from about 6pm on Sunday 30th November.

The Padstow lights are spectacular as they include lights all around the harbour and in the harbour water. See if you can spot the whale in the water! Along with the light switch on there will be a carol service to really get you into the Christmas Spirit.

Falmouth Lights will be switched on at 7pm on Thursday 4th December and includes a Childrens’ parade with local school children singing, dancing and carrying lanterns through town.

Why not celebrate Christmas this year by staying in a luxury Cornwall cottage.
