July 05th, 2016

Cornwall is known for producing delicious local produce and now you can try all there is to offer at the Rock Oyster Festival when staying at our Cornish cottages.

Taking place on the 15th and 16th July at Dinham House, overlooking the beautiful Camel Estuary this celebration of music, performing arts, fun activities and of course, delicious food is an event not to be missed.

Music will be provided by Willie and the Bandits, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Sound Of The Sirens as well as sets from The Undercover Hippy, Josh Savage, DJ sets by Jelly Jazz and piano mix anthems by Davos and many other artists sure to have you in a party mood!

Food plays an integral part of this fabulous event with the Farmers Market serving up an array of delicious artisan food both local and further afield.

There will be oysters of course as well as fish curries, pulled pork, St Moritz mussels, pigeon breast, gourmet sausages, luxurious breads and pastries, authentic wood fired pizzas and much more.

With all the great food you will need to wash it down, the Rock Oyster bars will be serving tasty cocktails, great wine and a fantastic selection of lager, cider and ales, something for everyone’s taste.

This a child friendly event with a host of activities for the young ones such as outdoor learning, stories and tales, coastal scavenging and workshops to keep your children entertained for hours.

Those looking to unwind will be thrilled that last year’s hugely popular pop up spa ‘Kernow Springs’ will be returning again this year. Offering unrivaled views over the estuary these wood fired hot tubs, wood fired sauna yurt, hot and cold showers, private changing rooms, as well as a super relaxing Bedouin chill out lounge complete with huge bean bags, rugs and throws are the perfect place for you and a loved one to unwind whilst listening to the live music.
