January 06th, 2015

The legendary British rockers Status Quo have announced that they are set to play a gig in Perranporth.

Perranporth is, in fact, the location where the band wrote their top five hit ‘Caroline’ back in 1973 on a previous visit so it will be a fond return for the band.

The world-renowned group will join a host of other musicians when they play the Tunes In The Dunes festival on Perranporth beach on Saturday, May 23, which will draw crowds of all ages with this latest news we’re sure!

The festival will be taking place on the weekend of Friday 22 May to 24 May, and other names well-known artists joining the Quo for the weekend include Donavon Frankenreiter and the Dub Pistols.

If you want to get tickets for the event go to www.tunesinthedunes.co.uk for details.
