An aspiring local actress from Truro has successfully secured herself a role in the sequel to the first Avengers movie Avengers Assemble, which has been touted as one of the biggest movies to ever have been made.
Samantha Orpe appears in the latest, and highly-anticipated superhero movie Avengers Age of Ultron which hits the big screen today (23 April).
The movie is the sequel to Avengers Assemble, the third highest grossing film of all time taking $1.5 billion at the box office on its release, three years ago, in 2012.
Samantha, who also boasts a former Miss Cornwall accolade on her CV, does not have a speaking role, however, she is the body double for one of the main characters – Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch played by Elizabeth Olsen. Olsen is a new recruit to the Avengers team of superheroes who has the power of mind control.
