Make the most of your Cornish holidays and tuck in at the Porthleven Food Festival

Back for its 8th year, Porthleven Food Festival will be offering up delicious local and international cuisine on the 16th and 17th April celebrating all things Cornish from food, beer, wine and bands.
This family friendly event has over 100 street food stalls offering up delicious local food, produce, art and crafts and fun for people of all ages.
The event is organised by a community association of talented, committed and enthusiastic members of the local area making it a must visit when on your Cornish holidays. A must see at this wonderful culinary event is the live demonstrations by a host of Cornwall’s best chefs along with a few well known celebrity chefs!
The focus on local brands and artisans is to raise awareness to protect the local Cornish economy and aims to teach people further afield about Cornwall’s exquisite food and local arts, across all platforms.
The event kicks off with the inaugural Porthleven Food Awards on Friday night, with music from headliners The Jar Family. Saturday sees the harbour town come to life with the street food stalls and more musical performances from national and international bands such as Samba Celtica, Porthleven Town Band and the Cadgwith Singers and The Mad Cows headlining Saturday night and British reggae band Shanty closing the festival on Sunday.
In addition to Cornwall’s delicious food and drink, Porthleven Food Festival will also be featuring a photography exhibition, celebrating ten years of the Masked Ball and for book enthusiasts a Literary Festival will also be taking place.
Entry to the Porthleven Food Festival is complimentary and tickets are not required for any of the daytime entertainment making this a must visit event when on your Cornish holidays.
