March 27th, 2015

Lucky visitors to popular tourist attraction, the Newquay Blue Reef Aquarium, will be able to discover and find out all about the exciting and fascinating world of nautical nippers over the forthcoming Easter holidays.

‘Nautical Nippers’ is a special in-house event at the aquarium and will feature workshops, arts and crafts, and competitions, as well as hands on experiences dedicated to the captivating ways different marine life enter the world.

The visitors to the attraction will see people being able to come up close and personal with a host of the aquarium’s very own cute little marine babies in their new homes in the Blue Reef Nursery.

Among those on display will be baby boxfish, cowfish, lumpsuckers, and our personal favourite, the belly seahorses. There’s also the breeding colonies of clownfish and shrimp.

And if all the new arrivals aren’t enough to keep the family entertained there will also be an ‘Eggs-plorers Egg Trail’ leading younger visitors on an fun and exciting hunt around the aquarium to find all the hidden eggs.

So if you’re planning on enjoying short breaks in Cornwall accommodation next month the ‘Nautical Nippers’ event will be taking place on a daily basis at Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium as of Friday, March 27 until Sunday, April 13.
