Popular Truro restaurant shortlisted for international design award
June 18th, 2015
A restaurant in Truro has successfully been shortlisted for an international design award.
Hubbox, which was originally located in a shipping container, cited on Lemon Quay (as seen in our main image) has been nominated for the award because of the design of its Truro restaurant, now running inside an equally chic location, a former chapel in Kenwyn Street.
The team at Hubbox had no option but to move following their huge success in their previous unique setting.
The design was achieved by St Ives based Meor Design and their innovative design has resulted in the restaurant now vying for the award against six other venues across the UK, in the category of restaurant or bar in a heritage building in the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards 2015.
Additionally, the restaurant has proudly featured in The Guardian’s 10 coolest restaurant interiors in the world and was also named one of the 100 top places to eat in the country by Casual Dining Magazine.
So if you are looking for somewhere to eat on a day out from our luxury lodges in Cornwall then why not see what Hubbox has to offer?
