Our self-catering cottages are perfect for whipping up a surprise breakfast in bed. You don’t need to go too extravagant, why not just try pancakes – our recipe ideas could help you out? If you want to try tackling something harder, go all out for a full English breakfast.
Our Falmouth cottages are the perfect location for days out at one of Cornwall’s beautiful gardens. Head to one of them, such as Trelissick Garden and enjoy the spring flowers, magnolia blossoms and the fresh Cornish air. A leisurely walk around one of the gardens is a fantastic way to see the best Cornwall has to offer and spend time with the family. You can also pick up some flowers or other presents at the garden’s visitor centre too.
For some lovely family bonding and laughter, indulging in a delicious afternoon tea of finger sandwiches and scones is the go-to. Near our cottages in Falmouth, there are many delightful local cafes where you can tuck into a traditional afternoon tea, including having huge dollops of clotted cream on your scones – just remember, it goes jam first when you’re in Cornwall!
Why not put on your fancy clothes and have an evening dining out at one of Cornwall’s best gourmet restaurants? Some top-rated restaurants in Falmouth include Oliver’s, The Wheel House and The Waymarker. And if you don’t want to go far, we also have our Cafe Azur. We serve fresh local produce and with daily specials, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
If you book one of our cottages with a hot tub, don’t hesitate to pop open a bottle of wine or champagne, and enjoy a blissful evening relaxing after a wonderful day, as you gaze out over the stunning Cornish scenery. Make it extra special by snacking on some chocolates or other tasty treats – sounds like the perfect way to end a lovely Mother’s Day!
